HOT FOIL STAMPING

transfers a foil coating from a carrier roll of polyester by means of a heated die. The coating can be metallic, matte, pearl or a hologram. Hot foil stamping uses heat and pressure to adhere the foil to the surface. A wide range of colours and patterned foils are available

VARNISHING

is done by running a printed sheet through rollers which add a colourless ink, this adds gloss to the surface of the paper. Spot varnishing allows you to add varnish to selected areas of your artwork to enhance the design.

LAMINATION

adds strength as well as gloss, a film of laminate is glued to the stock as it passes through a heated roller under high pressure. Laminated sheets must be left to dry completely before any additional operation such as guillotining or embossing is carried out.
